Melane Byrd, President, is an original founding member of the Plant City Federated Republican Women's Club.  She has served the club as Secretary, Vice-President and Celebrate Our Freedoms Co-Chair.  She has overseen a 75% increase in the membership of our club since 2006!  Her husband, former Florida State House Speaker Johnnie Byrd, is an associate member and  tireless advocate for our club and for Republican principles.

Leah Stitzel, 1st Vice-President, is serving her second year as a member of our club and dedicates many hours of time to her service as our Vice-President. As Celebrate Our Freedoms Ticket Sales Chair, she was instrumental in creating the spectacular success our club experienced during the 2006 election season. 

Wendy Brown, 2nd Vice-President, served as Treasurer last year. In that position she was responsible for maintaining records of many new members as our club vastly increased in number.  Her current job description is to serve at the pleasure of the President and provide service on every level of the club. 

Chappella Hill, 3rd Vice-President, has the dual distinction of being a founding member, and having served as our very first founding President.  As such, she was responsible for creating an exciting and dynamic new Republican presence in the Plant City area.  As 3rd Vice-President, she serves at the pleasure of the President and is also serving as Archives Chair.

Dorinda Cardwell, Recording Secretary, has been a member of our club since 2000.  She does our club the invaluable service of taking detailed minutes at every meeting and presenting them in a concise, yet easy-to-understand manner.  Her husband, Ivan Cardwell, a local race car driver, is an associate member.

Chandra Carmack, Corresponding Secretary, a native of the country of Mauritius, is enjoying serving as a first-time officer of our club.  She says she enjoys serving because the Republican principles our club was founded on bring us together as a family.  She is responsible for all written correspondence associated with club meetings.

Tina Mallare-Pike, Treasurer, has served our club in countless ways through the years.  She was elected President in 2002 and has volunteered on every event and campaign election our club has ever been involved with.  She hosted our First Annual Membership Tea and also hosted our Annual Christmas Party for many years at her beautiful home.  A previously unknown fact is that she also serves as our PCFRWC Newsletter Editor.  This dynamo is married to Gary Pike, another Republican dynamo, and an associate member.

Mary Wood, Assistant Treasurer, is a tireless volunteer for every event our club sponsors. As President/CEO of Florida West Coast Credit Union, she is responsible for overall operations, strategic planning, budgeting, policies, procedures and financial stability.  She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Florida Credit Union League and Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee.  As such, we could not have a better Assistant Treasurer for our club!  Mary and her husband Art, an associate member, are very active members of the Hillsborough County Republican Party, supporting countless Republican candidates each election cycle, and both are treasured assets to our club!

Mary Jo Futch, Immediate Past-President, has been instrumental in making our club one of the fastest growing in Florida.  She stepped in to serve as President in May of 2006 and led us through the transition of statewide leadership changes.  She currently serves as our Membership Chair and as such, has overseen a 50% increase in membership! This teriffic lady is married to Alvin Futch, an associate member of the club and one of our best advocates to congressional Republicans.
