Plant City Federated Republican Women are dedicated to all Republican women in the greater Plant City area who gather to promote the principles of good government.
Under the fantastic statewide govermental leadership of: Gov. Charlie Crist, Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp; House Speaker Marco Rubio and Senate President Ken Pruitt; the Republican Party Of Florida providing Party leadership from: Chairman Jim Greer and the awesome local leadership of our own Hillsborough County Republican Party leaders and PCFRWC members:David Storck, Chairman; Jim Browne, Executive Director; and Greg Truax, Political Director, Republicans have become the party of fresh ideas and new thinking. Our Club encourages debate on the major issues of our day, and we will consistently act in accord with the greatest values of our country – freedom and opportunity for all.
Our philosophy is to help others by employing the very best of Republican ideals. One of many examples of putting that philosophy into action is our work each year that enables us to award $500 fall college scholarships to local high school senior essay winners. Not only does the essay contest prove writing skills, it also generates creative thinking from students on issues such as: personal freedom, taxation, creative problem solving for our most needy citizens and sound solutions to problems affecting our environment.
